Commissioned by Sheldon Ackley in 2001. Sheldon wanted a painting for the hallway of his Manhattan apartment to complement the pinks in a woven rug, a trip souvenir. A minimal horizontal triptych in the movie "America's Sweethearts" (2001) informed this piece. The three paintings hang evenly spaced by a clear thread. (click image to open new window detail)
